As we enter into November, I’ve been doing some reflecting on seasonal shifts, both mind and body. I absolutely love this time of year and really relish every moment of it, but can also get easily get depleted by it, especially when the weather goes from brisk to freezing, the days get shorter and darker, and the craziness of the holiday season takes hold.
This transition can feel jarring for many of us, so to help support our bodies and minds, we can choose to consciously shift our choices to align with the energy of the season and keep us grounded. This can mean slowing down, simplifying and focusing our energies on inner reflection and restoration. I typically rely on a few simple guidelines to feel my best and keep my immune system strong throughout the fall and winter.
