Greetings, friends!
Recently, we got our first lil’ snowfall here in New Jersey - not quite the beauty in the picture above (that was from last January!), but enough to stoke my hopes that we will, indeed, see some actual accumulation this winter. I am a true lover of snow - nothing compares with the peace, beauty and coziness that a real Nor’easter can bring (of course, once we lose power and can’t leave the house for 4 days straight, I’m singing a decidedly different tune).
Snowy days are my favorite days to hunker down in the kitchen and dive into a cooking project. I have this schiacciata recipe bookmarked, plus have been meaning to give this soup a try on an especially blustery day.
